DONATE/ SPONSOR

Underwrite one of our projects! We have several exciting competition ideas that need Sponsor assistance to be realized.  There’s nothing quite like the rush of seeing a creative project blossom, and knowing you (or your corporation) were the key to making it happen. We have various Sponsor levels and concordant recognition.

If you have your own idea, submit it to the ClearWater Coordinator.

We have a list of great project ideas... soon to be online here.

What do you want to see happen at ClearWater?

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

ClearWater teams up with other companies or non-profit organizations so that, together we can realize goals that benefit the greater community.  For example:

  • Arts-based grant proposals need Partners for matching grant contributions; or a Partner and ClearWater might collaborate on writing a grant proposal that helps their mutual constituents;

  • ClearWater can provide spaces for events/ activities that another institution or group needs or wants to hold;

  • Companies and corporations can leverage our creative spaces and arts expertise, for engagement & team-building among employees. Have your Employee Resource Group Coordinator consult with our Coordinator.

We have lots of ideas, and we bet you do, too.  Give us a call!

GUEST TEACH ART CLASSES

ClearWater is growing its capacity for both adult, and youth education. Our resident artists provide classes, but we'd like to engage other local experts-- and visiting ones-- to conduct classes here too! We're honing our policies and readying our spaces.  Application and Contract forms will soon be available here on this site.  Meantime, if you'd like to Guest Teach, contact the Coordinator and be ready to provide your qualifications and class proposal.

GUEST ARTIST SHOWS & ARTIST TALKS

Our Guest Artist Exhibition Series was created in early 2016 to showcase high-quality artists in our 2,200-sq-ft Main Gallery. In 2018, our Lower Level (LL) 2nd Gallery & Events Room came online to add to our exhibition capacity (see the great video on our home page about the NC Athletic Assoc. Photography show in this space!

We look for local/ regional artists doing great work who are emerging or don't otherwise have an established venue or a collecting audience. So far, these Exhibits are chosen and co-curated by the ClearWater Coordinator, Sarah Gay, who has an extensive background in the Fine Arts.  She is always on the lookout for the next hot talent the region should know of! Free, public Artist Talks, required of every Guest Artist, give audiences a chance to meet the artists and learn more about their backgrounds, methods and interests.

Let us know if you have a nomination for an upcoming Guest Artist show!

JOIN the CLEARWATER ARTISTS' COALITION (CAC)—

As of 2017, Membership in the CAC is now open to anyone interested in helping further its purpose and grow/ benefit from our ClearWater cultural community!  Affiliate Members pay half the Annual Membership Dues that leasing artists pay; and we need your energy and ideas.  The Coalition is a great way to connect with other area artists, get discounts on events and classes, and help make the ClearWater vision a reality.

If you’re interested in helping bring about creative events, helping with marketing or fundraising, or even just helping support efforts by serving in some other capacity — Board Treasurer, for instance, or Secretary — please get in touch.  We'll be adding a page here about the Coalition soon with more details.
