SOUTHERN PIEDMONT WOODTURNERS

Invite you to enjoy an evening with

BOB MOFFETT

“TURNING A MULTI-AXIS PLATTER”

Southern Piedmont Woodturners kicks off our 2020 season with our very own Bob Moffett demonstrating the turning of a multi-axis platter at our January meeting. Time permitting, Bob plans to teach some coloring techniques and perhaps even demonstrate a router jig he made for the lathe.  Please make plans to join us for the evening of friends, learning, fun and encouragement.

SPW meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at our studio located in Clearwater Art Center and  Studios, 223 Crowell  Dr., NW, Concord, NC.  (corner of Crowell and Kerr St.)  A social hour starts at 5:30 and the meeting convenes at 6:30 pm.   During our break we will have snacks available, a raffle for wood turning related items and a presentation of our instant gallery of turnings by our members.  We will also raffle off our Turner of the Month piece.
