Annual Spring Judged Art Show, 2024
The Cabarrus Art Guild celebrated local artists at our
Annual Fall Judged Art Show, 2024 Reception

A fabulous afternoon was had by our attendees, taking in all the art created by our local artists. Entries were from Members and non-Members from Cabarrus and surrounding counties. We asked local artists, friends and neighbors to join us in celebrating art and sharing their work.  Please see the ribbon-winning entries below, showcasing different styles and art types.

We are privileged to continue to award First, Second, Third and (2) Honorable Mention awards in two categories, 2D and 3D. A grant from the Grassroots Art Program of the North Carolina Arts Council, a state agency, and the Cabarrus Arts Council partially supports these awards.
 
Many congratulations to all the show’s participants and especially to the following award holders:
 
2D    1st Place: “Joyous Morning Light” by Susan Lackey
         2nd Place: “Whispers of Shadow” by Inna Shchehlova
         3rd Place: “Seasons Shadows” by Nancy Carroll
         Honorable Mention: “Remembering Rembrandt” by Randy Pender
         Honorable Mention: “At The Beach” by Karen Stiglich
 
3D     1st Place: “Creek Killer” by Josh King
          2nd Place: “Pine Needles with Pearls” by Shakeeka Brooks
          3rd Place: “Ray of Hope For Redemption” by Linda Harris
          Honorable Mention: “Summer Bluegill Fishing” by Donna Miller
          Honorable Mention: “Textile Art” by Lynn Cavanaugh
 
The show is now on view at ClearWater Arts Center and Studios in their Main Gallery through Nov. 23, 2024 (223 Crowell Dr NW, Concord, NC; enter via the Crowell Dr. main doors).
 
Stop in to see these amazing pieces during their drop-in hours, Wednesday-Friday, 12 noon to 5:00 pm, and Saturday 10 am-2 pm, or you can schedule an appointment to visit at another time by calling 704.920.6600.
 
Free admission and open to the public.

When: Sunday November 13, 2022 at 2pm

Where: ClearWater Arts Center & Studios, 223 Crowell Street Concord (enter via Main entrance on Crowell Street).

Details: Free to the public, no registration necessary

Come join us in celebrating our local artists and their submitted work for our annual show. Ribbons and prizes will be awarded at this event. Come meet and mingle with artists and those that appreciate art. Light snacks will be served.
